Founded in 2015 by Heela Yang, our brand draws endless inspiration from Brazilian culture: a belief that beauty is an attitude, not a rigid standard.
While living in Brazil, Heela fell in love with the local way of life — people of all shapes, shades and backgrounds celebrating their bodies without judgment. This spirit became the foundation of Sol de Janeiro: self-celebration, body positivity and unapologetic joy for everyone.
